I was feeling horrified at turning 41. Nothing anyone said could ease the depression I felt about my upcoming birthday. My fiancee surprised me with a boudoir photography session as a birthday gift. I was skeptical at first "I don't need pictures of myself!" I said, but I had a lot of fun posing for the photos. Becky did a great job with my "beauty regime" and Mark, the owner/photographer did such an amazing job of making me feel comfortable, that I didn't feel self conscious at all and now we have a beautiful book of photos to look back on.

I went in for a boudoir shoot thinking I was way too big for them to look any good and for me to feel comfortable but this was honestly the most incredible and empowering experience of my life. Even though I found it difficult to get into some of the crazy poses, the photos turned out incredible. I couldn't believe how much I love the photos and my partner loved them too! They were tasteful and beautiful, I didn't have any qualms about showing them to anyone haha!

Had an amazing experience with the team at Portraiture by Goddess. I was way out of my comfort zone but Jess was so lovely and I felt relaxed straight away! Mark’s editing was fabulous and he was very helpful and easy to communicate with. If you’re considering trying this type of photoshoot, I would 100% recommend!
